Honor the memory of friends and relatives who cannot run or walk today. You're invited to have fun and get a little exercise, and celebrate everything life has to offer. Healthy people and especially those having HIV or cancer or any so called life-threatening illness are invited. Bring along those docs who never thought you'd be around to see another sunrise. Share the day with very special people; people who care.
All of the net proceeds from the World AIDS Marathon and 5k Fun Walk will go to AIDS orphans, research and various AIDS and cancer charities... the vast majority in Kisumu and Kenya. See "Who We Support" for more info.

When: 9:30 am on December 1, 2006
Fun Walkers shall arrive between 7:00 - 8:45 AM, Friday, December 1st at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Stadium The first 500 fun walkers who sign up that day will receive a free World AIDS Marathon T-shirt. All fun walkers will also receive a running bib number at that time. There will be no advance sign up for the fun walkers.

The 5k fun walk is a non-competitive WALKING event. There will be no awards or prizes, except for the 500 free T-shirts for the first 500 people who sign up.
